About Mattise

Mattise is a hobby operating system for x86 computers. It avoids outputting excess and irrelevant data in order to make the system easier and faster to use.

One of the most appealing features of Mattise is its POSIX compliancy. A Newlib port is available for developers wishing to write Mattise software (see here for more information). Programs including NASM, binutils, and even GCC are portable to Mattise without requiring code changes.
